first, we ACTUALLY won first place in the powerdance competition. We were WILD and we were WEST and we were WILD WILD. ate gabbah and MASTER (kuya) MONRA were the, uhhm, courtside reporters?
this was my bet, based on my POV and the POVs of the people, visitors, and professors around me when i was watching:
- 4th place would go to '10
- 3rd place to '11
- 2nd and 1st would be '09 or '08.

2011-MARTIAL ARTS
ang sayaw ng 2011 ay nakakatuwa. kulang lang talaga sa enerhiya. :) pero sa totoo lang, mas organized sila kesa sa 2010, mas makulay ang choreo nila, mas varied ang routines, at mas maligaya ang banner nila. :) with matching 'mana sa 08' self pangungutya, '11 basurero'. according sa isang beteranong propesor (im talking with doctorate degree hah), mas gusto niya din ang sayaw ng batch na ito dahil MARTIAL ARTS talaga ang theme. ilang lang sa mga points about their presentations ay;
* may pagka wirdo yung blocking :/
* mahina yung cheer
* nagkandahubad-hubad na yung costume nila xD
* elibs yung costume. :) papasa nang anime!
* WALA SI GOD!!! >:(
* yun nga, parang mas may energy pa sila nung practice nila :)
**overall** : i think may panama ang bats na ito sa mga susunod na kick offs. energy guise, energee. :)
2010-ANIME
Ang sayaw ng 2010 ay... hmm. well.
first of all, hindi ko alam kung kelan sila nagsimulang magkaroon ng sound effects.
ikalawa, masyado nilang niliteral ang theme nila na ANIME. mas OK pa sigurong pumili nalang sila ng JPOP or JROCK songs :/ (aside from mine, POV din ng mga tao at propesor).
ikatlo, mas ANIME pa ang costume ng 2011. ang tingin namin (as a whole, as an audience) sa costume nila ay WTF PREPPY OSBOURNE FTW. mas maganda sigurong nag seifuku/sailorsuit nalang sila. mura pa at madaling gumawa. sabi nga ni veteran doctorate degree professor on my side of spageti tuwing magsastop sila, "that was it?! what was that?! i liked the first one better. they were more organized."
so. marami kaming nakitang weak points sa presentation nila like:
* yung music. napakaraming japanese songs at more upbeat and non-gasgas anime soundtracks out there, why oh why exploit sobakasu, haruka kanata, nanka shiawase, and that yu yu hakusho theme? and why oh why may hiphap songs na nakasingit?!
* their cheer.
* yung routines. at choreo. ay hindi. makulay. at. maligaya.
* the banner. diyes. ok. diyos? oh no.
* proper costume or the lack thereof.. :/
* blocking.
* parang hindi nila alam kung anong next. tingin sa katabi galore.
**overall** : napakadami nila sa batch nila, isa sa mga bagay na dapat nilang gamitin. next time try to be more innovative, lively, and brainstorm! i repeat, BRAINSTORM! and practice.
2009-LATIN
Ang number ng 2009 ay nakakaaliw. tip na nga sa kanila at sumali na ang pep sa latin dance chuchu. nakakaaliw yung colors, pero ang konti nilaaa... : ( Matino yung songs, pero may mas matitinong songs pa. malamya yung steps, pero bigay na bigay naman. : ) I LIKE THE FISHNETS : D

2008-WILD WILD WEST
At ang sa 2008 naman ay yung samin. sa POV ng mga nagpresent, ito ay sabog at malamya, mahina at walang kwenta .:) pero ayon sa mga ininterbyu namin:
** "pucha! pano niyo nagawa 'yon?! sigurado ba kayong 08 kayo?!"
** "maganda!"
** "perfect pyramid xD!"
** "sabay sabay"
** "FUNNY!"
** "madaming pakulo"
** "masigla!"
atbp. : D after the presentation, tanong agad ako sa mga non-dancer batchmates and when they said that KEWL nga daw, i started telling everyone that i love them. it was tiring! i even had to take of my fukken jelly shoes to do the stomp part properly. PARTY POPPERS 20 POINTS!
when the winners were announced, kinuyog kagad namin si KUYA RAMON! batiin niyo kami sa radyo! yehey! with picture taking conyotic powers and bonding with rat humping a frog.. PICS SOON!
tapos nun, nag lokohan nalang kami sa mga workshops at booths. MARRIAGE BOOTH. kinasal ako ke pael! haha! arlon & mikee, donkie & gioan, francis & julie, and JIM MANUEL, pucha, POGI!!
pero ofcourse! sa bawat victory ng 08, may isang R* BAN*A na BABANAT (ay, MABABAN*A pala). i-cocontest daw niya sa teachers ang pagka 1st ng 08. i have nothing against 09, yer a great batch, even though you call us BOBO (haha) though i don't, i repeat, i don't like this specific being. ang reason niya? TINURUAN DAW KAMI NI ATE GABBAH. :/
wtf? hindi kami tinuruan ni kuya erwin! andun lang si ate gabbah tuwing praktis dahil master siya ng pep skwad. the most she would give to us are tips (ex: oversized microphone meme) which we didn't even follow anyway.though nanunuod siya at kinicritique kami, hindi naman niya kami tinuruan ng routines. xP
so, FU BAN*A, FU!
